'� Albert M. Spradling, III presiding and Council Members Richard Eggimann, Melvin Gateley, "
�� and J.J. Williamson present. Melvin Kasten and Tom Neumeyer were absent.

� Mayor Spradling stated that the April 7, 1998, municipal election results had been received ',;
! from County Clerk Rodney Miller. Pursuant to Section 7.09(a) of the City Charter, the City
ji Council canvassed the returns and declared the results of the April 7, 1998, municipal election, I,I
�i upon Mr. Gateley s motion, Mr. Williamson s second, and the following vote: Ayes, ;I
!� Eggimann, Gateley, Spradling, Williamson. Nays, none. The results of the election were as �;

Mayor Spradling presented JJ Williamson a plaque in appreciation for his last four years as a
City Councilman.
There being no further business, the Council adjourned upon Mr. Williamson's motion, Mr.
Eggimann's second, and the following vote: Ayes, Eggimann, Gateley, Spradling, Williamson.
Nays, none.
Following the meeting, Mr. Eggimann, Mr. Purcell, Mr. Stoffregen and Mayor Spradling were
sworn into office by the Deputy City Clerk.
