SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
MAY 17, 1989
PRESENT:

Truman Cole Al Stoverink, Airport Manager
Special meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Miles at 5:50 p.m, following
the Airport Planning Advisory Committee meeting on the Cape Girardeau Municipal
Airport Master Plan. Presentation was given by Stephen Wagner and Rob Little of
Coffman and Associates at first meeting outining first steps to the Master Plan.
Next meeting of Advisory Committee will be held in July.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
CHAIRMAN - Paul Miles nominated by John Seesing, seconded by Paul
Brinkopf. Passed unanimously.
VICE CHAIRMAN - Truman Cole nominated by Paul Brinkopf, seconded by
John Seesing. Passed unanimously.
SECRETARY - John Seesing nominated by Paul Brinkopf, seconded by
Truman Cole. Passed unanimously.
PARKING OF RENTAL CARS
OTHER
Motion made by Truman Cole and seconded by John Seesing that parking
places now occupied by rental cars be made for use of public and rental
cars be moved to first row south of north parking lot fence with drop points
from terminal main entrance to restaurant driveway and all other rental
vehicles to be in outer parking lot. Rental car pickup area to be from main
entrance to north curb amendment. Pickup point for cars to be 1/2 of
available spaces on each end from parking now. Three numbering from
south five spaces each for two rental agencies. Chairman decided vote 3
to 2.
Parking of private aircraft on new ramp to be studied by City.
