CAPE GIRARDEAU MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT BOARD
November 23, 1983
The Cape Girardeau Airport Advisory Board met at the Arena Building at 7:30 p.m.
on November 23, 1983.
Present:
Paul Miles, Chairman Robert E. Gass, Director of Aviation
Jerry McClanahan, Secretary Donna Hanchens, Project Director
Dave Patterson, Board Member Chamber of Commerce
Glen Reeves, Board Member .
Truman Cole, Board Member
Approval of minutes fram the last meeting was approved by Dave Patterson and
and second by Jerry McClanahan.
Presentation of display cube was made by Donna Hanchens, Project Director� for
Chamber of Commerce. Display cube purchased by the Cape Chamber of Commerce, who
wiil take responsibility to secure 4 (four) advertisements and lease out each
space located in main lobby by post.
Motion by Glenn Reeves that we approve placement of cube as per approval of
Air Transportation Committee of Chamber and Cape Chamber of Commerce. Second
by Dave Patterson. Passed unanimously by Board.
Discussion of future use of present display case and future interior decoration
of lobby. No recommendations made at this time.
Motion by D.ave Patterson that wall be approved in end of Gelco's space for
restaurant storage and that the old restaurant storage be released to Britt
Airways for luggage. Seconded by Glen Reeves. Passed unanimously.
Discussion if McCombs freight to be assessed $25.00 per month landing fees.

Motion by Glenn Reeves that we approve placement of display cube as per approval
of Air Transportation Committee of Chamber and Cape Chamber of Commerce. Seconded
by Date Patterson. Passed unanimously by Board.
Motion by Dave Patterson that wall be approved in the end of Gelco's space for
restaurant storage and that the old restaurant storage be released to Britt
Airways for luggage. Seconded by Glen Reeves. Passed unanimously.
