MEMORANDUM T0 : City Council FROM: Airport Advisory Board RE: Board meeting on June 9, 1982 Motion by Truman Cole that the request by Cape Pilots Club be granted with the right of way to public roads not to be hampered. Any emergency needing to depart or deter airport would be cleared with F.A.A. at Flight Service Station. Seconded by Dave Patterson. Passed unanimously. Motion by Truman Cole that we take the matter of fuel tank under advisement and give Mr. Drury our answer within seven days. Motion by Dave Patterson that we deny request by Drury Company for fuel at the Airport. Seconded by Truman Cole. Passed unanimously. Reasons Fuel farms are designed for bulk storage of fuels by commercial purveyors of fuels. There is not provision in the airport master plan for private storage of fuels at the fuel farm and it is the opinion of the Airport Board that any variance from the location or the purpose would not be in the best interest of the future development of the airport nor of the general public. Motion by Jerry McClanahan that Glenn Reeves and Dave Patterson be reappointed to the Airport Board. Passed unanimously.
