The meei:ing was called to order by Paul ^liles. Ttie minutes of the last meeting
were approved as read.
Bob Gass reported that architect, Tom Holsllouser had approved carpet in main
terminal area. The Board inspected the carpet and there is a definite differ—
ence in tlie "uye I.ot". The carpet does not match and should be co�^rected.
Also the ��atch to cover the burned area is unsatisfactoi^y. The KF�S insurance
adjuster has not lool�ec� at the-burned area. A patch is not satisfactory.
Truman Cole moved th at pa.yment for the carpet continue to be with��eld until
t;he carpet matches. _�l�o that KFVS be presented a k�ill. for the entire cost
of the carpet. Secondeci by Iteeves. Blotiori carried.

lot signs have not been erected. There appears to be no control on parking
next to t;he ci.zr� by the main �:ern�inal. This is a Zoading and unloading zone
restricte�.-3 to 5 minute parking. Parking limits in this area should be enforced.
Avis Pias asked for a d�rect teiephone line to their off—airport i.ocation.

MEMORANDUM
T0 : City Council
FROM: Airport Board
Re: Board meeting on July 20, 1979
It has been brought to the attention of the Airport Board that there are
operations on the airport that are clearly in violation of the minimum
standards for operations adopted by the .Airport Board.
Cole moved that an ordinance be prepared and passed by the City Council
enabling enforcement of said minimum standards and that the council then
forthwith cause strict enforcement of said ordinance. Seconded by Reeves.
Motion carried.
