RE: Existing Historic Inventory Data and Van Ride
We were able to locate several items relating to existing
historic resources in and near Cape Girardeau and I am hereby
forwarding copies of the following to you:
1. "Thilenius" map of Cape Girardeau County T a14-

2 . "Thilenius" map of City of Cape Girardeau
(Bicentennial, 1975) . Kn�y1
3 . Summary Report of the 1985 Survey of the Downtown
Area.
4. Field notes from the 1981-82 survey of the East End
Area.
I will have the complete documents and map of the 1985 survey
of the downtown area, including inventory forms, photographs,
and the map at the June meeting.
*Lorimier/Fountain Street Access from New Highway 74.
Several Commissioner's have expressed an interest in field
inspecting the area in question. Accordingly, we have
scheduled a van ride for 6: 15 p.m. , Tuesday, June 19th, just
prior to the Commissions meeting. As we do with the Planning
Commission, the "bus leaves on time", so if you are late, you
will miss it. If you have any questions in this regard, please
call Brenda or myself.
