Cape Girardeau Regional Airport Advisory Board Meeting - Minutes
June 14, 2022
The Cape Girardeau Regional Airport Advisory Board held their regular meeting on June 14, 2022 at
11:30 am at Cape Aviation Conference Room.
Board Members Present: Staff Present:
Richard Knote, Chair Katrina Amos, Airport Manager

Shawn Wasson, Board Member Mark Bliss, City Council Liaison
Justin Davidson, Board Member
Mark Mehner, Board Member
Mike Marshall, Board Member
Joe Uzoaru, Board Member
Jeff Brune, Board Member
Others Present: Nathan English, Southeast Missourian, Cape Pilot Club Members
Absent: Dr. Quantella Noto, Board Member
I. Call to Order/Approval of Minutes - The meeting was called to order at 11:30 am by Mr. Knote.
No minutes to approve at this meeting, the motion was approved by unanimous vote.
II. Appearances – NA
III. Old Business -
A. Airport Activity Report –Ms. Amos presented the May 2022 Airport Usage Reports, at
the June 2, 2022 meeting.
• Airline Update – Ms. Amos and the Board agreed, Contour Airlines can provide
what our region needs with daily service to Nashville, while also bringing forth an
interline agreement with American Airlines. The Airport Advisory Board are in
favor of accepting the agreement with Contour Airlines, and sent that
recommendation to the Cape Girardeau City Council to be debated at the June
20, 2022 regular city council meeting.
B. Cape Aviation Report – Ms. Amos discussed the May 2022, Cape Aviation Reports at the
June 2, 2022 meeting.
A. Airport Projects Update –
• New Terminal Building – Ms. Amos reported the mandatory proposal is due on June
30, 2022. More discussion on the topic after the proposals are offered.

VI. Adjournment – There being no other business, Mr. Brune moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr.
Davidson seconded the motion. All were in favor. The meeting adjourned at 12:10pm.
