4. That the request of R. A. Ritter, Jr. and Ann W. Ritter to rezone the northeast corner of
Kingshighway and Southern Expressway from M-2, Heavy Industrial District, to R-4,

Kingshighway; Shirley Phillips — Missouri Power Transmission, 2102 Southern
Expressway; Connie Nebel — Day Transfer Company, 2094 Southern Expressway, and

Chairman Smallwood commented on the successful vote on the TTF-3 proposition. The
Commissioners all indicated the progress that has been made on the TTF projects, and thought
posting the signs on projects was good.
Chairman Smallwood also asked about the proposed sign ordinance. Beckie Figliolo,
Planning Technician, stated that she needed to get with the City Attorney to find all the items
pertaining to signs in the current ordinance that would need to be repealed and get the ordinance
into draft form. She indicated that the ordinance would most likely be brought back to the
Commission at their October meeting.
Kent Bratton, City Planner, discussed the new interchange and associated streets in
connection with the City's Major Street Plan. A committee consisting of Harry Rediger, Ralph
Maxton, Greg Williams, and Glenn Smallwood was appointed to meet with staff to review the
 plan.
Chairman Smallwood asked that a meeting be set up for the Commission to meet with
Jackson's Planning and Zoning Commission some time in the next month or two. Mr. Bratton
stated he would contact them about setting up the meeting.
Respectfully submitted,
