REZONINGS, SPECIAL IISE PERMITS,AND EXCEPTIONS
1. Continuation of the request by Gary Arnold to rezone property at 2930 Hawthorne Road,
formerly addressed as 2861 Hopper Road, from the R-1 (Single-family Suburban
Residential) District to a PD (Planned Development) District and for the approval of a
Preliminary Development Plan.
ACTION
2. Continuation of the request by Tony LaForest for an exception from Development Code
Section 25-604 fence location, type and height, at 1931 North Kingshighway.
ACTION
3. Public Hearing on the request of Austin Crowe for an exception from Development Code
Sections 25-603(g) fence general standards and 25-604 fence location, type and height, at
331 1 Kage Road.

NOTE: Public hearings on Rezoning and Special Use Permit applications recommended for
APPROVAL by the Planning and Zoning Commission tonight will be held before the
City Council on Monday, January 4, 2016. Rezoning and Special Use Permit
applications recommended for DENIAL tonight will be referred to the City Council on
Monday,December 21,2015.
Subdivision Plat applications which are recommended for approval or denial by the
Planning and Zoning Commission tonight will be presented to the City Council on
Monday,December 21,2015, unless there are public improvements involved.
Development Code Exception applications are decided by the Planning and Zoning
Commission. They do not go on to the City Council.
