5. That the request of Frank Snider III for a special use pertnit to operate a
private detective agency out of the home of Frank Snider Sr., and to erect an
advertising sign located at 901 S. Benton in an R-2 Residential Zone not be
recommended for approval. The request died from a lack of a motion. No
citizens appeared regarding this request.
6. That the request of Robert Cox for a special use pernut to construct an
addition to his home at 825 Independence Street located in a C-1
Commercial Zone be recommended for approval. The vote on the motion
to approve was 11 in favor and 0 in opposition. No citizens appeared
regarding the request.
7. That the request of St. Vincent DePaul Church for a special use permit to
install a lighted monument sign in front of the church located at 742 Forest
Avenue in an R-2 Residential Zone be recommended for approval. The
vote on the motion to approve was 11 in favor and 0 in opposition. No
citizens appeared regarding this request.
� In other business, the Septic Tank Committee set September 19, 2003 at 3:00
p.m. for their next meeting. The committee will meet in the Engineering
conference room at City Hall. The Commission was also reminded that it
would meet again on September 24, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers to discuss Transportation Trust Fund III.
