The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, July 10, 2002. By
� ;O majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we act and/or recommend as
� follows:

� ::� 1. That the request of Jerry and Kathryn Westbrook for nomination of the Edward
�� � H. Engelmann House at 504 Bellevue Street for an Historic Landmark zoning
� ;:� classificarion, be recommended for approval. The vote on the motion to
� �.h approve the request was 8 in favor and none in opposition. There were no �
� i� citizens present in opposition to this request. ,
� ��"� 2. That the record plat of DKR 8�' Subdivision be recommended for approval. �

;;� ;F4 3. That the record plat of Laine's First Subdivision be recommended for
� � approval, contingent on items indicated in the staff review letter being
� � resolved prior to forwarding the plat to City Council. The vote on the motion
to approve the plat was 8 in favor and none in opposition. There were no
�� ; citizens present in opposition to this development.
'� ' The Commission also reviewed plans for Silver Springs Road, from Mount
;� Auburn Road to Kingshighway and discussed a proposal for designing the
intersection at South Kingshighway. The Missouri Department of Transportation
�� ; will do the design work for this intersection. A motion was made and seconded to
proceed with the design of the intersection of South Kingshighway and Silver
� � Springs Road. The vote on the motion was 8 in favor and none in opposition.
':� The Commission also reviewed plans for Silver Springs Road from
' Shawnee Parkway to Mount Auburn Road. The vote on the motion to approve the
plans for this project was 8 in favor and none in opposition.
