6 That the request of Jerry Lipps to rezone 2355 Locust Street from M-1, Light Industrial
District, to M-2, Heavy Industrial District, be recommended for disapproval. The vote on
the motion to approve the request was 0 in favor and 10 in opposition.
7. That the request from William R. and Kathryn F. Swan for an approved place be tabled
until the June meeting. The vote on the motion to table the request was 10 in favor and
none in opposition.
8. That the record plat of DKR 7�' Subdivision be approved. The vote on the motion to
approve the plat was 10 in favor and none in opposition.
9. That the record plat of Golden Eagle Resubdivision of Lot 1 be approved. The vote on
the motion to approve the plat was 10 in favor and none in opposition.
The Commission reviewed the input from the Vision 2000 public hearings and TTF-2
recommendations. A petition was received from citizens and businesses on widening Mt.
� Auburn Road from Kingshighway to Independence, with no parking during business hours. The
Commission recommended adding this project to the Other Projects Considered list. The vote on
the motion to recommend submitting the final recommended transportation projects list as it
currently stands to the City Council was 10 in favor and none in opposition.
The Commission received copies of proposed changes to the Floodplain Management
Ordinance for review. A presentation on the proposed changes will be made at the regular June
meeting.
