5. That the request of Melvin C. and Mary C. Kasten and Windall and Dee Dee Wilson for a
Special Use Permit for additional living quarters at 2000 Perryville Road in an R-1,
Single Family Residential District, be recommended for approval with the following
stipulations: 1) that there be no access to Lexington Avenue; 2) that all improvements
comply with City codes; 3) that the property not be used for rental income. The vote on
the motion to approve the request was 11 in favor and none in opposition. There were no
citizens present in opposition to this request.
6. That the record plat of Winks —Nunn Subdivision be approved. The vote on the motion
to approve the plat was 11 in favor and none in opposition. There were no citizens
present in opposition to this development.
A presentation on the proposed County Planning and Zoning was made to the
Commission by Gerald Jones, Presiding County Commissioner, Roger Arnzen, Mapping and
Appraisal, and John Dudley, Chairman of the County Planning and Zoning Commission. The
Planning and Zoning proposed by the County is the result of four years of study. They indicated
� that public meetings have been scheduled to present the information to the public and
additionally, presentations will be given to various civic organizations between now and the
November election. City Planning Commissioners approved a resolution endorsing the
Countywide Planning and Zoning. The vote on the motion to approve the resolution was 11 in
favor and none in opposition.
