5. That amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, Sections 30-2 and 30-39, to provide for
micro-breweries and "brew pubs" in C-2 and C-3 zoning districts with a Special Use
Permit recommended for approval. The vote on the motion to approve the request was 8
in favor and none in opposition.
The following officers were elected for the upcoming year: Chairman—R. J. McKinney,
Vice-Chairman, Thomas Mogelnicki, and Secretary—Thomas Holshouser.
The Commission set January 21, 1999, at 7:00 P.M. as the date for a special meeting with
members of the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce to discuss extension of the
Transportation Sales Tax.
