The Commission received information from Larry Simon of linion Electric Company
regarding utility easements in new subdivision developments that resulted from discussions
between Union Electric, Southwestern Bell Telephone, TC� Cable, Alliance Water Resources,
and the City Engineer's Office. After discussion of the information received, the Commission
felt that further study was necessary prior to making a formal recommendation.
The Commission also discussed the issue of sidewalks in new subd�vision developments.
This issue was also discussed in conjunction with the utility easement issue. Further study of
the sidewalks was requested prior to formal recommendation.
The Commission was given information regarding proposed guidelines for manufactured
housing locations within the City, particular in regards to the issuance af Special Use Permits.
The Commission has scheduled a speciai study session on May 28, �997, at 5:00 P.M. to
discuss the manufactured housing guidelines, and sidewalks and utility easements in new
subdivision develonments.
