The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, July 9, 1997. By
q majority vote, actua] vote counted and in the file, we act and/or recommend as

"� 1. That the request of the City of Cane Girardeau and the Southeast
� , � Missouri District Fair Board for a Special 1Jse Permit for a sign at the
�� � southwest corner of the Kingshighway entrance to Arena Park in an R-1,
�� Single Family Residential District be recommended for approval.

-� ' That the request of Larr W. McCulley and Bett L. McCulley to rezane
� � 2. y Y
� Victorian Estates from R-1, Single Family Residential District, to R-2,
���, � Single Family Residential District be recommended for disapproval.

� 3. That the preliminary plat of Crites lOth Addition be approved.

�: 4. That the record plat of Crites lOth Addition be approved with the
�;�,y stipulation that any corrections needed be made prior to Council approval
� of the plat, and that a variance be approved for a 30 foot wide street

�� 5. That the record plat of Randol Farms Estates Second Addition Amended
be approved with the stipulation that any corrections needed be made
� prior to Council approval.
6. That the preliminary plat of Option C of Beaver Creek Estates as
presented at the meeting be approved, as this appears to be the option
which would provide the greatest degree of traffic safety by elimination
of a bad intersection on Ka�e Road, that the extremely low density
development would not create internal traffic congestion on an
exceptionally long cul-de-sac, and with the stipulation that any corrections
� ' needed by made prior to Council approval.
