� ; The Planning and Zoning Commission met in a special study session at
� .. ,,,., 12:00 P.M. on Monday, October 30, 1995. The purpose of the meeting was
'' to discuss the Henderson-New Madrid intersection.

'� � Dan Morris of Sverdrup discussed the three alternatives proposed for

�, ' this intersection and the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.

Alternate # 3 was the design with the best traffic flow for the area, and

� � created intersections with adequate visibility.

� �'� The Commissioners discussed traffic counts and traffic patterns in the
� `� area and possible changes to design Alternate # 3. Their decision was to let
� the City staff and the University's consultant work out the best design based
"� � on Alternate # 3.
