SPECIAL SESSION - AUGUST 14, 1995
Council convened in special session on Monday, August 14, 1995, at 5:00 p.m. with
Mayor A1 Spradling III presiding and Council Members Richard Eggimann, Melvin
Gateley, Tom Neumeyer, Jack Rickard, and J.J. Williamson present. Melvin Kasten was
absent�
Pursuant to Section 7.09(a) of the City Charter, Council canvassed the returns and
declared the results of the August 8, 1995, election regarding the 'hC tr�nsportation sales
tax, upon Mr. Williamson's motion and Mr. Neumeyer's second. Following comments
by the Council, the motion was approved upon the following vote: Ayes, Eggimann,
Gateley, Neumeyer, Rickard, Spradling, Williamson. Nays, none. The results of the
election were as follows:
Yes 3,124
No 1,486
Mayor Spradling announced that a work session between the Council and the Twin Lakes
Property Owners Association will be held Tuesday, August 22, 1995, at 6:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers.
There being no further business, the Council adjourned upon Mr. Gateley's motion, Mr.
Eggimann's second, and the following vote: Ayes, Eggimann, Gateley, Neumeyer,
Rickard, Spradling, Williamson. Nays, none.
