SPECIAL SESSION—FEBRUARY 14, 2000
Council convened in special session on Monday, February 14, 2000, at 4:00 p.m. with Mayor
Albert M. Spradling, III presiding and Council Members Melvin Gateley, Tom Neumeyer and Jay
Purcell present. Richard Eggimann, Melvin Kasten and Frank Stoffregen were absent.
Mayor Spradling stated that the February 8, 2000, special election results had been received from
County Clerk Rodney Miller. Pursuant to Section 7.09(a) of the City Charter, the City Council
canvassed the returns and declared the results of the February 8, 2000, special election, upon Mr.
Neumeyer's motion, Mr. Purcell's second, and the following vote: Ayes, Gateley, Neumeyer,
Purcell, Spradling. Nays, none. The results of the election were as follows:

No 148
There being no further business, the Council adjourned upon Mr. Neumeyer's motion, Mr.
Purcell's second, and the following vote: Ayes, Gateley, Neumeyer, Purcell, Spradling. Nays,
none.
