Zoninq Items
1. Special Use Permit, 1101 William Street Street (southwest corner of William Street and
Hanover Street), owned by Phillip T. McClellan, for gasoline pumps (transfer of existing
Special Use Permit to new owner), located in a C-1, Local Commercial District.
Mr. McClelland purchased the existing convenience store and gasoline station from
Phillip Hodges several years ago. The convenience store and gasoline station have
continued to operate since that time. Mr. McClelland was unaware that the Special
Use Permit was required for the gasoline pumps at this location, until a recent
business license application was made. This action will transfer the existing Special
Use Permit to Mr. McClelland, owner of the property, and allow the existing use to
continue. Mr. McClelland recently leased the c-store to Capeland, LLC dba AM PM
(Alam Zahed) , who applied for the business and liquor license (original package
liquor and Sunday sales).

2. Special Use Permit, Northwest Corner of Perryville Road and Lexington Avenue, owned by
Westside Investments, LLC (Bill Stanfield), for a convenience store and gasoline station,
located in an R-1, Single-Family Residential District.
This request is for the construction of a new convenience store and gasoline station
at this location. The Wink's store located on the lot immediately north of this
property will move into the new structure. The new facility will be approximately
3,000 square feet with three fuel pumps, and the site will have access from both
Perryville Road and Lexington Avenue, and would allow easier access for customers
and delivery vehicles. On the application submitted, the prior Special Use Permit
applications were not listed. We have compiled this list and it is in the application.
On verbal contact with Beckie on May 3, 2006, Mr. Stanfield indicated that if the new
c-store is approved, the existing gas pumps will be removed and the existing
building converted into retail and/or office space. If this is not feasible, they will tear
it down and build apartments (existing tract is zoned R-4).
3. Special Use Permit, Northeast Corner of Sprigg Street and Shawnee Parkway (Highway 74),
owned by JJP Investments, LLC, for a Jasper's convenience store and gasoline station,
located in a C-1, Local Commercial District.
This request is for the construction of a new convenience store and gasoline station
at this location. Access for the facility will be solely from Sprigg Street. The
convenience store will be approximately 4,500 square feet, with a detached canopy
covering six fuel dispensers.
Subdivisions
l 1. The Highlands at Dalhousie— Phase IV— Record Plat. (Dalhousie, LLC)
This is a twenty-three lot subdivision. This subdivision will connect existing sections
of Langholm Drive, which were developed as part of the original Highlands at
Dalhousie subdivision. The development will be for single-family residences.
