HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-09-12 A RESOLTUION ACCEPTING AND ADOPTING THE MASTER w PLAN FOR THE CAPE GIRARDEAU MUNICIPAL AIRPORT �,.N� WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is a growing cit� in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, and it is considered to be in the best interest of the residents of the City to ado�t a Master Plan to guide the growth and development of the City's municipal airport; and WHEREAS, the City is empowered to implement planning and zoning, and improvements to the Municipal Airport; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Cape Girardeau, with assistance from Coffman Associates, Inc. , airport consultant, has conducted careful studies and has caused to be prepared a Master Plan showing recommendations for the physical development and land uses of the Airport �roperty, and such recommendations are embodied in a report entitled Airport Master Plan for the CaQe Girardeau Municipal Airport; and, WHEREAS, proper legal notice of a public hearing on the Airport Master Plan for the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport was published in the Southeast Missourian newspaper published in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on August 8, 1990, for consideration of said Master Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning and Zoning � Commission of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, does hereby adopt and a�prove the Airport Master Plan for the Cat�e Girardeau Municipal Airport; which plan is embodied in the report of that title. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of this resolution shall be attached to copies of the Airport Master Plan for the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport, as referred to above and as adopted, and such certified copies shall be filed and recorded with the City Council and the City Clerk of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, as required in Section 89. 360 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri. PASSED AND RESOLVED by majority vote of the full membership of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, this 12th day of September, 1990. Dennis Vollink, Chairman ATTEST: � obert Cox, Secretary � CERTIFICATION OF ADOPTION OF THE AIRPORT MASTER PLAN FOR THE CAPE GIRARDEAU MUNICIPAL AIRPORT I, Robert Cox, Secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, do hereby certify that at a regular meeting of the City Planning and Zoning Commission, held on September 12, 1990, and by a majority vote of the full membership of the Planning and Zoning Commission, a resoltuion adopting the Airport Master Plan for the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport was approved and appears in the Minute Book of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Cape Girardeau. I further certify that the attached copy of the adopting resolution is a true and correct copy and that the report to which this certificate and copy of the adopting resolution are attached is a true and correct copy of the Airport Master Plan for the Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport as adopted by the City Planning and Zoning Commission at its regular meeting of September 12, 1990.
