To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met in special session at 5:00 P.M. on
Wednesday, April 5, 1995. The purpose of the meeting was to review projects that might be
funded if a Transportation Sales Tax should be pursued and to develop some priorities for such
projects.
After review and study by the Commission, a preliminary list of projects was established
in order of priority, which will be reviewed at a later meeting. Some of the items on the list
� are currently funded in the Capital Improvements Program, while others are not. For those
currently listed in the CIP, the Commission would hope that any additional funding that might
become available could be used to accelerate their completion.
