To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, February 9, 1994. By majority
vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we act and/or recommend as follows:
l. That the request of David and Cindy Patrick to rezone 1809 North Kingshighway from
C-4, Planned Commercial District, to C-2, General Commercial District, and R-1, Single
Family Residential District, be recommended for approval.
2. That the record plat of Randol Farms Seventh Subdivision and the variances for lot lines
� in that subdivision be approved. �
3. That the record plat of LaFentres Resubdivision be approved.
Presentations were made to the Commission from the Boyd Gaming Corporation and
Lady Luck Cape Girardeau, Inc. regarding their riverboat gaming developments and the impact
these developments would have on the planning and zoning in the City, traffic patterns, and
other types of infrastructure developments.
Following these presentations, the Commission elected officers for the coming year.
Motion was made and seconded to retain the cunent roster of officers, which is Charles O.
Haubold, Jr., Chairman, Thomas Mogelnicki, Vice-Chairman, and Robert Cox, Secretary. The
Commission also voted unanimously to allow officers to serve for only two consecudve years.
