To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, November 11, 1992. By
majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Gregory Keith Deimund, Michael Garrett Deimund, and Sarah Anne
Deimund to rezone a tract of land on the southeast corner of North Sprigg Street and
Bertling Street from R-2, Single Family Residential District, to C-1, Local Commercial
District, R-4,Multiple Family Residential District, R-3,Two-Family Residential District,
and R-1, Single Family Residential District be recommended for approval.
2. That the request of Edna I. Siemers Trust, Drury Development Corporation, and Lowe's
Corporation to rezone a tract of land south of Route K and west of Siemers Drive,
� southeast of Sam's Wholesale Club and west of drainage ditch from R-1, Single Family
Residential District, to C-3, Central Business District, be recommended for approval.
3. That the record plat of Randol Farms Sixth Addition, which was tabled at the October.
meeting, be approved.
4. That the preliminary plat of Cape West Fourth and Fifth Subdivisions be approved.
5. That the preliminary plat of Cape West Sixth Subdivision be approved.
The Commission also unanimously moved that R-1, Single Family Residential District
zoning be proposed for the area of Twin Lakes Subdivision and adjacent properties cunently
proposed for annexation.
