To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, February 11,
1991. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Hanover Lutheran Church for a
Special Use Permit for an addition to the church at
2949 Perryville Road in an R-1, Single Family
Residential District, be recommended for approval.
2 . That the request of Mount Auburn Christian Church
for a Special Use Permit for an addition to the
church at 930 Mount Auburn Road in an R-1, Single
Family Residential District, be recommended for
approval.
� 3. That the record plat of Woodland Place Subdivision
No. 3 Amended be recommended for approval.
4 . That the record plat of Woodland Place Subdivision
No. 5 be recommended for approval.
The Commission also held a public hearing for input from
citizens on the BOCA National Property Maintenance Code/1990.
Comments were received from Mr. Frank Bean, Mr. J. D. Warren, and
Mr. Jack Rickard on the proposed code. The Commission unanimously
voted to recommend to the Council that the BOCA National Property
Maintenance Code not be ado�ted as written, and that the Council
appoint the staff or a committee of advisors to define objectives
and draft an ordinance to accomplish the objectives.
