To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, July 10,
1991. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Eva F. Hinze for a Special Use
Permit for construction of a stora�e facility for a
salvage business at 1601 South Sprigg Street in an
M-2 , Heavy Industrial District, zone be recommended
for approval.
2 . That the request of Cape Bible Chapel, Inc. to
rezone 2911 Kage Road from R-1, Single Family
Residential District, to R-4 , Multiple Family
Residential District, be changed to a Special Use
� Permit and be recommended for approval . (Subsequent
to the meeting, on July llth the church submitted a
letter asking for this change. )
3 . That the record plat of West End Industrial Park,
Phase I be approved.
4 . That the record plat of A Resubdivision of Lots 2
and 3 of a Resubdivision of Lot 4 of a Resubdivision
of Lot 3 , Westborough Subdivision be approved.
5. That the record plat of Northfield Eleventh
Subdivision be approved.
The Commission also discussed approving an extension date to
the construction of two churches for which Special Use Permits were
approved at the June meeting to 18 months instead of 6 months as
stated in the Ordinance.
