To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, August 14,
1991. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the record plat of Bean's Ninth Subdivision be
approved, with variances to allow Lot 1 to be 14,042
square feet rather than the required 15,000 square feet,
and to allow the line between Lots 1 and 2 to be other
than at a right angle to E1 Rio Drive.
2 . That the record plat of Cape West Second Subdivision be
approved.
The Commission also considered a request from Rick Blattner
for a Special Use Permit to place a mobile office at 1300 North
� Water Street in an M-2 zone. In connection with this request, the
Commission also recommends that the Zoning Ordinance be amended to
allow this type of use with a Special Use Permit in M-2 zones. The
Commission further recommends that the requested Special Use Permit
be approved.
