To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, September
11, 1991. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file,
we act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Randol and Marlene Morris to rezone a
vacant lot in the 1600 block of Kingsway Drive from R-1, Single
Family Residential District, to C-1, Local Commercial District, be
recommended for denial.
2 . That the request of Boatmen's National Bank of Cape
Girardeau and Madelyn Schmucker to rezone 241 North Park Avenue
from R-3 , Two-Family Residential District, to R-4, Multiple Family
Residential District, be recommended for denial.
In other actions, the Commission was presented with a draft
� fence ordinance. Commissioners were asked to make their comments
on the initial draft and forward them to the City staff by
September 27, 1991. Also, Ken Eftink, Planning Coordinator,
brought Commissioners up to date on the status of several capital
improvement projects that are in progress at this time.
