To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, October 9,
1991. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
l. That the request of Eunice Seabaugh for a Special Use
Permit for a mobile home on the rear of the property at
1033 North Fountain Street in an R-2 , Single Family
Residential District, zone be denied.
2 . That the request of the Society for the Propagation of
the Faith and Family Counseling Center, Inc. to rezone
property located at the northeast corner of Linden
Street and South West End Boulevard from R-4, Multiple
Family Residential District, and C-1, Local Commercial
District, to C-1, Local Commercial District, be
approved.
� 3 . That the request of the Society for the Propagation of
the Faith and Family Counseling Center, Inc. for a
Special Use for a residential and outpatient treatment
center located on the northeast corner of Linden Street
and South West End Boulevard in a C-1, Local Commercial
District, zone be approved.
4 . That the record plat of Ashland Hills Estates Eighth
Subdivision be approved.
5. That the record plat of Randol Farms Fourth Addition be
approved.
In other actions, the Commission was made aware of two
nominations being made by the Historic Preservation Commission.
These nominations will be forwarded to the Planning and Zoning
Commission in the near future for their consideration.
Also, Kent Bratton made a presentation to the Commission on
the proposed purchase of the water system from Union Electric
Company. The Commission voted unanimously to endorse the City's
purchase of the water system.
