To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, October 10,
1990. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of James L. and Janet L. Mungle and
Herbert L. Annis for a Special Use Permit for sign
attached to a non-conforming building at 2424
Kingsway Drive in an R-1, Single Family Residential
District, zone be recommended for approval.
2 . That the request of James L. and Janet L. Mungle and
Jim R. Gerhardt, Sr. for a Special Use Permit for a
business sign to be located on the property at 2424
Kingsway Drive in an R-1, Single Family Residential
District, zone be recommended for approval.
� 3 . That the reguest of Drury Industries, Inc. and Earl
Siemers to rezone property located along the south
side of Route K, west of Interstate 55, which is a
portion of the Cape West Business Park, from R-1,
Single Famil� Residential District, to C-2, General
Commercial District, be recommended for approval.
4 . That the request of Southeast Missouri Hospital
Association to rezone 5Q2, 506, 514, and 518 Sunset
Court and all of Sunset Court south of Lacey Street
and east of Sunset Boulevard from R-3, Two Family
Residential District, to C-3, Central Business
District, be recommended for approval. �
In other actions, the Commission a�proved a revised
preliminary plat for the Clarkton Place Subdivisions, submitted on
this date by Bobby and Jane Clark, and Richard Bowen, engineer.
This was done as a result of the Council's referral of the record
plat for Clarkton Place Subdivision Phase III to the Commission.
The revised preliminary �lat should answer any questions the
Council may have concerning the deviations from the original
preliminary plat for this area.
