To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, July 19,
1989. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
act and/or recommend as follows:
1. That the request of William H. Gaeer, Richard T.
Mahy, Jr. and PAR Enterprises, Inc. for a Special
Use Permit for a service station and car wash at 812
North Sprigg Street in an R-4 , Multiple Family
Residential, zone be recommended for denial.
� 2 . That the request of Yong Kie Kim to rezone 1815 Cape
La Croix Road from R-1, Single Family Residential,
to C-2, General Commercial District, zone and a
Special Use Permit for mini-warehouse construction
be recommended for approval.
3 . That the revised preliminary plat of Engram Farms
Subdivision be recommended for approval.
In other business, representatives from the homeowners along
the proposed Lexington Arterial route were present to voice their
opposition to the proposed location and to request that the
Commission consider looking into some alternative routes for this
major arterial route.
