To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen :
ihe Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, November 9, 1988.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we act and/or
recommend as foilows :
1 . That the request of McDonald's Corporation for a Special
Use Permit for- a parking lot on Lots 5 and 6, Block 2 , Oak
Park Subdivisic�n in an R- 1 zone be approved.
� 2 . That the requ�st of Keith Deimund to rezone property which
borders on the west side of Mt. Auburn Subdivision No. 2
from R-4, Multi-Family Residential , to C- 1 , Local
Commercial District be approved.
3 . That the request of Mrs. Ruth Rainey to rezone property
located at approximately 2200 Big Bend Road from R- 1 ,
Singie Family Residential , to C-2, General Commercial
District be approved.
4. That the preliminary plat of Mt. Auburn Subdivision No. 3
be approved.
In other business , the Commission adopted Rules of Procedures for
the Pianning and Zoning Commission.
Three proposed zoning amendments were presented to the Commission
for review. These amendments will be discussed by the Commission at
�their next meeting.
