The Pl�nning �nd Zoning Commission met Wednesday, May 13,
1987. By majority vote, actu�l vo�te counted �nd in the file, wr_.
recommend as fo 1 1 c�ws : -
1 . That the request of Wanda Winschel and Michael
Session for a Special Use Permit for offices and
storage of U-Matic video cassette tapes at 1236 North
Sp�nish in an R-2 zone be approved.
Z. T�h�t the request of William S. �nd Birdie W. R�der
for a Special Use Permit for a resid�nce on the
main floor, an office in the basement for Rainbow
vacuums , and a sign in the y�rd and on the porch at
148 S. West End Boulevard in an R-3 zone be approved
with the stipulations that th� sign in the yard be
no larger than two feet by three feet (2' X 3' ) and
�>laced perpendicular to the south�ast or rear corner
� of the house and that the sign on the porch at the
front of the house be no larqer than two and a half
feet bv three and a half feet (2' 6" X 3' 6" ) .
3. That the request of Dorothy J. (Whitson) Brown to
r�ezone 155 South Minnesota from R-2 to C- 1 be denied.
4. Tr��t the request of Charles and Joyce E3lattner, JerrY
and Martha Erlbacher, and Par Enterprises, Inc. for a
Special Use Permit for a filling station in conjunction
with �� restaurant and convenience store at 1610 and
1614 Nortt� Kingshighway in a C- 1 zone be approved.
The Plt�nning �and Zoning Commission vnted unanimously to
rereive thc Comprehcnsive Plan as submitted by the Southeast
Reyion��l Planning Commission with the amendments and changes
discussed in the two study sessions held by the Planning and
7_oning Commission.
It was proposPd �nd voted on favorably to scheciule the
requl<�r P1 �3nning and Zoning Meeting for June and th� Public
Fiearing for the Compr��hensive Plan on June 17 , 1987, at 7:30 P. M.
