To the Honorable Mayor and Council
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, August 14 ,
1985 . By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
recommend as follows:
1. That the request of Clarence and Genevieve Dockery to rezone
part of Lot 115, Range Q in Ingram' s Addition from R-4 to
� C-1 be denied.

"'� 2. That the request of Jehovah's Witnesses and Cape Girardeau
Limited Partnership to rezone Lot 1 of Witnesses Subdivision
from R-1 with a Special Use Permit to C-1 be approved.
3 . That the request of Harold E. and Clarisse L. Chism and A. M.
Spradling, Jr. Voluntary Trust to rezone 718 Caruthers and 1838
Broadway from R-1 and a Special Use Permit to C-1 be approved.
4 . That the request of Edna I . Siemers Trust and Drury Development
Corporation to rezone land adjacent to and west of I-55
south of Howard Johnson' s Motor Lodge from R-1 to C-2 be approved.
5 . That the request of Robert W. and Linda Bohnsack to rezone a
lot in the 2700 block of Adeline Avenue from R-1 to R-3 be
changed to a Special Use Permit for a duplex as agreed to by
the applicant and that the Special Use Permit for a duplex
be approved.
6. That the request of Richard C. and Diane Bruns for a Special
Use Permit to teach 6 to 10 students in an art studio at 1822
Big Bend Road be approved.
