To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, September 11,
1985 . By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
recommend as follows :
1 . That the request of Frank Steck and Jean Pulliam for a Special
Use Permit for a licensed day care center at 321 South Spring
Street be denied.
� 2 . That the request of Donovan C. and Joyce L. Dunlap and Jon T.
and Rita M. Henderson for a Special Use Permit for a self
service car wash at 1301-1303 William Street be approved.
3 . That the request of Marshall R. and Marion E. Maxwell and Dale
L. and Cynthia L. Maxwell to rezone four-fifths of a tract at
2709 Bloomfield from R-4 to C-2 be approved.
4 . That the request of the Gospel Assembly Church to rezone 1017
Linden from R-2 to commercial for a parking lot be changed, as
agreed to by the applicant , to a Special Use Permit for a parking
lot and that the Special Use Permit be approved.
5 . That the preliminary plat of Westborough Subdivision be approved.
6 . That the revised preliminary plat of Wieser Subdivision be
approved with a variance from the requirement of a temporary
turn around at the end of a stub street in excess of two hundred
fifty ( 250 ) feet in length.
