To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, October 9 ,
1985 . By majority vote, actual vote counted and in the file, we
recommend as follows :
1 . That the request of Patricia M. Kennedy to rezone 1004 Maple
Street from R-2 to the commercial zone that will allow the
keeping of dog food for sale in her home be changed, as agreed
to by the applicant , to a Special Use Permit to allow the
keeping of dog food for sale in her home and that the Special
� Use Permit be approved.
2 . That the request of Roger A. and Nadine S. Mainor to rezone
711 Good Hope Street from C-1 to M-1 be changed, as agreed to
by the applicant , to rezoning to C-3 and that the C-3 zone be
approved.
3 . That the request of Clarence and Genevieve Dockery for a
Special Use Permit for a laundromat on Lot 115, Range Q,
in Ingram' s Addition, 920 North Frederick be approved with
the stipulations that the three existing buildings be torn
down before a building permit is issued and that the new build-
ing meet City codes and be similar in concept to the design
presented.
4 . That the proposed ordinance adjusting the time frame of the
rezoning process be approved.
