To the Honorable Mayor and City Councilmen:
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met December 10,1969.
Present were Giles, Chairman, Arnold, Wrape, Ruopp, Hemperley
and City Engineer, Hahn.
By ma,jority vote we recommend as follows:
1. The request of Betty J. Davis and Mr. & Mrs. Walter
Graham to rezone Lots 5 and 6, Block 3, Pattengill Place Ad-
� dition from R-2 to C-1 be approved.

2. The "Special Use Permit" request of Andy Juden, Jr.
of the South half of Outlot 52 for mobile homes be approved.
3. The Commission points out that on November 13,1968,
we recommended approval of a "Special Use Permit"on land own-
ed by Joe Hale on Highway 61 under Section 19.37 of the Zoning
Ordin4nces. Subsequently the Council issued this permit.
Since that time the Amusement Park failed to materialize. We
feel that you should consider a termination of this permit,
under the time limit section of the "Special Use" segment, In
addition we point out that the first paragraph of the "Spec-
ial Use" regulation states that the Council shall impose ap-
propriate conditions including a specified period of time, for

the permit.
