4. That the request of Pat LaFont to rezone 402 Chesley Drive from R-1, Single-Family
Residential District, to C-1, Local Commercial District, be recommended for disapproval.
Chris Koehler, representing the applicant, present the request. The vote on the motion to
approve the request was none in favor and 8 in opposition. Approximately 23 citizens
appeared in opposition to the request.
5. That the record plat of Ireland Subdivision be recommended for conditional approval.
The vote on the motion to conditionally approve the plat was 8 in favor and none in
opposition.
6. Doug Leslie, City Manager, made a presentation to the Commission on the Charter
amendments which will be on the April election ballot. There are three changes
proposed, with each item being a separate ballot issue.
7. The Commission asked that City staff research other zoning ordinances regarding
professional office zoning and research park zoning.
8. Kent Bratton, City Planner, reminded the Commissioners of the special meeting on
� March 22, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. with Old Town Cape.
