5. That the record plat and variance request for Arbor Heights Fifth Addition be tabled to
the October meeting. Mary Richards, 1813 Greenbrier Drive, appeared with concerns
about mud and stormwater runoff from the proposed subdivision. The vote on the motion
to table the plat and the variance was 11 in favor and none in opposition
6. That the record plat of Steven Roberts Subdivision be recommended for approval. The
vote on the motion to approve the plat was 11 in favor and none in opposition.
7. That the record plat and variance request for Rigdon Commercial Subdivision be
recommended for disapproval. The Commission felt the variance request from the rear
yard setback would not benefit the existing development of the lots. The vote on the
motion to approve the plat and the variance was none in favor and 10 in opposition, with
1 abstention.
8. That the record plat of Jansco's First Subdivision be recommended for approval. The
vote on the motion to approve the plat was 11 in favor and none in opposition.
� 9. That the record plat of Pat's Place Subdivision be recommended for approval. The vote
on the motion to approve the plat was 11 in favor and none in opposition.
R. J. McKinney appeared before the Commission regarding questions and comments on
the Comprehensive Plan contract..
In other action, Chairman Smallwood appointed Commissioner William Hinckley to the
Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.
