0 The Planning and Zoning Commission met Wednesday, November
` _ �i 28, 2007, in a special meeting. By majority vote, actual vote counted and in
Vq .. the file,we act and/or recommend as follows:

�H � 1. That the record plat for Ashland Court Sixth Addition be
� � recommended for approval. No citizens appeared regarding the
Qrequest. The vote on the motion to approve was 5 in favor, 0 in
N °�y' opposition, and 1 abstaining.
�
�1 �� The Commissioners discussed the sidewalk ordinance and requested
� "� information from staff pertaining to grandfathered projects, when a variance is
�o
k appropriate, and who is responsible for the enforcement of the ordinance. The
� A°Q Commissioners also discussed the two-mile extra-territarial planning as it
� 0 pertains to new subdivisions wishing to be annexed. Chairman Haubold gave
� � � a brief summary of the latest meeting between Cape Girardeau, Jackson, and
� the County Commissioners. The Commission agreed that two-mile extra-
H terri toria l p lannmg s hou l d be given priori t y nex t year.

� The Commission requested a staff report regarding the sign
� ordinance; specifically how it is being applied and how it is being enforced.
