Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Gomfni�sion met Wednesday. April 10, 1985.
By majority vote, actual vote counted and ir� the file, we recommend
as follows:
1 . That the Pre�iminary P1at of San Dangarn 4th Subdivision be
a�gravad subject to the developer providing escrow for the
paving of half of E1 Rio Boulevard and that the right-of-way
fo� half of "E1 Rio Boulevard be dedicated.
2. That the request of John L. and Jessie B. WEscoat for a
Special Use Permit to renta house at 1202 Broadway to Phi
S�igma Epsilon fraternity be approved for a maxi�num of ten
mesnb�rs of the Phi. Sigma Epsi�on fraternity and that four
off-street parking spaces be provided.
3. That the propased ordinancs setting standards for portable
signs be approved provided that an Item ( j )_ be added to
Sec�ian 2 stating that no portable sigr� shall remain on the
�remisa� for more �han fifteen ( ]:5) days .

Subjecta Traffic Recommendations
The Planning and Zaning Commissifln members also discussed at the
Apra.l la, 1�35, n�eeting a couple of traffic related problems.
The Commission would like ta recommend r�moval of parking an both
sides of North Sprigc� fram Pearl Street to Bertling and would suggest
that this be don� in late summer before th� fall semester of college
starts .
Also, a g�edestrian signal at Sprigg Street and ��ashington-Normal
Avenue wa� suggested by �.t Zeas� �ne tn�mber< �
