SPECIAL SESSION—August 30,2021
CALL TO ORDER
The Cape Girardeau City Council convened in special session on Monday, August 30, 2021, at
5:00 p.m.,with Mayor Bob Fox presiding and Council Members Robbie Guard, Stacy Kinder,Dan
Presson, Nate Thomas, and Shannon Truxel present via Internet videoconferencing (Zoom.us).
Shelly Moore was absent.
ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
A Motion was made by Dan Presson, Seconded by Robbie Guard,to adopt the agenda.
Motion passed. 6-0. Ayes: Fox, Guard,Kinder,Presson, Thomas, Truxel. Absent: Moore.
AGENDA
BILL NO. 21-131, a Corrected Ordinance Providing for the Levying of the Annual City Revenue
Tax; Public Health Tax; Special Business District No. 2 Tax; for the Fiscal Year ending June 30,
2022. First,Second and Third Readings.
A Motion was made by Robbie Guard, Seconded by Nate Thomas, to approve and adopt.
Motion passed. 6-0. Ayes: Fox, Guard,Kinder, Presson, Thomas, Truxel. Absent: Moore.
BILL NO. 21-131 will be Ordinance No. 5447.

There being no further business,the Cape Girardeau City Council special session ended at
5:03 p.m.
