increase.

Page 4
• Phase One: Is the most popular with youth. It is a five (5) story high speed slide that is able to use the
existing pump. It would be located horizontal along Kingshighway or the east side of the water park.
• Phase Two: Will include the construction of two bridges on each end of the lazy river. They will build a
deck at the south end and provide cabanas for lounging.
• Phase Three: The Splash Reef would be northeast of the lazy river. It would provide a relaxing heated
cascade rock waterfall setting, zero depth entrance, lockers, service, concession and restroom areas. A
sound system and portable projector screen could be added for an ideal private party area.
Penny added that Mr. Markey will be fine tuning the estimated cost figures in preparation for bid opening as
soon as Cape Splash closes. Penny added that they know that many will ask why we don't get a wave pool.
They have looked at the initial cost and the cost return and it is just too costly. She encouraged the members
to let her know if they have pictures of features that they could e-mail to her that they think would be great to
add to Cape Splash and she will forward to Mr. Markey.
