Fiberglass railing will be placed along side of the concrete paths on the stream side for pedestrian's protection. The city will continue the path from Bloomfield bridge by connecting to Brink Street and Minnesota for the final destination of Shawnee Park; projected completion in early 1993. This will be a temporary trail to be used until the Highway 74 bridge is completed. The Board Member expressed a consensus opinion for the City Storm Water Division house crew to expedite the completion of the trail from Arena Park to Hopper Road by acquiring property right away from property owners as soon as possible and complete the path width no less. than 8 feet wide. The width of the trail, especially on the under -bridge sites and dangerous curve areas, was a concern of the Board Members present.
