To the Honorable I-hyor and Councilmen
City of Cape Girardeau, Lhssouri
Gentlemen:
Zn meeting held or. October 11, 1967, the Planning and Zoning Commission
took under advisement five (5) matters of zoning as forwarded by the City
Council.
The Corodssicn, by majority action, recommends as follows*
1. Hares at of "Cellegevood Apartments, Inc." to rezone a part of
Oudot 36 and part of Int 20, Hendze's Addition, from Class "B",
part, and Class "C", part, Two Family and Apartment respectively, tir^�pt
to Class "B", Commercial, be denied, however, their request to
rezone same to Class "D", Apartments, be approved.
2. Request of Walter F. Kelpe to rezone a part of U.S.P.S. 2198, off
Perryville Road, South of bbadow Brook Apartments, to Commercial
zoning be tabled, for further study, and that this case be studied
and ruled upon by the City Attorney as a matter of precedence
where owners are operating as non -conforming use on a portion of
large tract, in our recently annexed territory.
3. Request of James Faker Contractor Inc, to rezone a part of C ` q
int 1, Allen's Subdivision of Cur;ot 76 & 77, U.S.P.S. 2199,
which is a lot on Kiagsway at Route. 61, from Class "A",
Residential, to Class "D", Apartment, be approved.
4. Request of Inuis Bahn, et al, to rezone the South side of
Bellevue Street from Pacific Street to Snuck Place from
Class "B", part, and Class "C", Part, to Class "F", Commercial,
be tabled for further study.

5. Request of Joseph R. Kuss, Rzby 11. Farrow, and Joseph bargeaux to
rezone a part of Int 2, Rodney 400 — Arpen Tract, U.S.P.S. 2199,
being a parcel of ground between Gordonville Road, New Route "K",
1956 Corporate Limits and Edgewood Road from Class "A", Residential, �+
to Class °D", Apartments be denied. We are returning herewith a N
list containing 24 signatures opposed to this zoning.
