To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen,
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
The City Planning & Zoning Commission met on March 12, 1969.
Present were Richard Gilea, Chairman, Gary Arnold, Milton
George, Dudley G. Ruopp, Robert F. Hemperley and Advisors
Robert Hahn and Mike McCrats.
Recommendations:
That the request for a "Special Use Permit" by Na, and
Mss. Grant Kizer for a church on Edgewood Road be denied.
That the request for rezoning of a tract on Highway 61
by Mr, and Mrs, Jerry Erlbacher and Mr. and Mrs, Charles
Blattner to rezone to 0-7 be granted, subject to the deeding
to the City of a fifty foot right of way with a thirty foot
road bed runninr generally from Kurre Ione to Highway 61.
That the request to rezone the tract south of Themis, west
of Clark, back to Spring and north of railroad track north of
Independence from M-1 to R-4, all of this is with the except-
ion of the commercial building now occupied by the Cape County
Welfare office, be approved. _
Out next meeting April 9, 1969.
