Gentlemen:
At a meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission held on April 14, 1971,
with the following cemners in attendance, 1%byor Howard ';oo Fe, Chairman �.ichard
Giles, Milton George, Dudley Ruopp, GeorFe '~!rape, Lon ;•laxey, Robert Her:nerley,
and l?o'cert ?.ah::, the Commission, by ma,;orlty action, recommends as follows:
1. 'Cha`., the rsqueat of the >tissv-ri llistrict Of the Datherart Ghursh - .-ssasi
Synod for a special use permit to construct a church at the southwest corner
of Gollese FUl Place and Pacific Street be approved, subject to their
Compliance with zoning regulations.
r,. 2. That the request of James n. 11•1cDonal3 to pare a mobile home south of Melody -
T,ine, on a private road, be denied.
3. That cne rrquest of John Freeze for a special use permit to construct a car
wash and filling station on Lots 17 and 2^, 3lock 15, `~lest End :'lam Addition,
`le apnroved.
4. That the request of Ivan L. Farrow to rezone Lot lq, 310c`, 9, Robertson -Gals .
:subdivision, from R-2 to C-1 b- denied.
5. That the request of Atlas Plastics to rezone a portion of Lots Ia and 7,
.'sin -e R, located a', 232 Broadway, iron C-3 to :,Yl las denied.
Returned, herewith, are the application fors on the various zoning chance
requests, with sections pertaining to this commission completed.
The Commission surrests that adoption of a policy controlling street widths
in comPeroial and industrial section of the City be considered.
lPne next meeting is to be held on May 12, 1971.
