To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met on January 12, 1972.
By majority action we recommend as follows:
1. Denial of request of Charles E. Garrison for a "Special Use Permit"
for apartment use in C-3 District.
2. Approval of request for rezoning of certain lots on Spanish, Mer-
riwether and 'lain from R-4 to C-3 by John R. Monroe.
3. Denial of request of Karen Ervin for "Special Use Permit" for one
chair beauty shop in R-1 Zoning.
Votes on each of these matters are recorded in folders returned here-
with.
On the request of Harold Werner, Joe Mirgeaux, at at, to accept the
plat of Auburn Park, the Commission voted 9 yes, one abstaining, to accept
said plat, subject to the following conditions: That a right-of-way through
the property of fifty feet for a street be granted to the City, approximate-
ly 835 feet from the west end of Themis Street as shown on plat, and also a
right-of-way of 25 feet be granted to the City at the east end of said Them-
is Street, with the City Engineer to make a recommendation to the council.
as to the exact location.
