To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Tentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met on November 14, 1973. By majority
action we recommend as shown on the following matters:
1. That the request for change in Zoning regulations by the Missouri
Division of Health be tabled for more complete information to be
furnished at the next meeting.
2. That the request for rezoning Lots 2 thru 8, Crites 1st Addition be
tabled until further information is provided on the paving of Inde-
pendence Street.
3. That the request of St. Matthews Baptist Church for a Special Use
Permit for a church building on Lots 8 and 9, Block 6, Giboney Houck's
Second Subdivision be approved.
4. We return the request of Calvin Williams because by a vote of 7 yeas,
2 abstaining, the Commission believes Mr. Williams can operate the
business as explained in his request without a rezoning order.
