To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Gentlemen:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met on December 12, 1973. By
majority action, actual votes contained in folders returned herewith,
we recommend as follows:
1. Request of Paul Talley - Special Use for mobile home- Tabled
for lack of prosecution.
2. Mary Long - Special Use for Rest Home - -tabled for lack of
prosecution.
3. Clarence Suedekum - Mobile Home for business office in M-1
Zoning - Approved.
4. Claude Foeste - Mobile Home - Special Use - request for use as
office - Approval, providing there is no subdividing of present
property or sale of lots, except immediately adjacent to Lom-
bardo: Approval is subject to Mobile Home being set up approx-
imately 350 feet west of Clark and 400 feet north of New Madrid.
5. Request of Larry Haertling - J.E.Cook Company, for rezoning on
West Independence - Tabled, with Commission members to further
investigate use of "New" Independence, as to residential or
Commercial.
6. Request of Division of Welfare for change in Zoning regulation
to permit licensed "baby sitting" - Tabled, with instruction
to City Manager to acquire present regulations concerning same
from City of Columbia and ascertaining from the City results
of the zoning.
